Atualizado: 12 de mai. de 2019

"The world is in the hands of those who have the courage to dream and take the risk of living their dreams."

Let’s first begin telling the story of Felicity Photography and its relation to the book "The Alchemist" by the brazilian author Paulo Coelho.

This book portrays the story of a man who goes in search of a treasure. He goes through a path with barriers ,difficulties and great lessons . He discovers that the treasure he seek so much was exactly inside himself, where his heart is.

"What we seek is closer than we think."- by Unknown Author

The story of Felicity Photography has a lot of similarities with the text above. The founder always had a dream of starting her own business but did not know in which business field she could embark. For 3 years she searched everywhere she traveled. While on her trips, and also on social networks she searched for something that she could be interested in to start her business. While on this search, she had several ideas, but the environment in which she was, was preventing her from executing on those ideas.

She then had the idea of looking inside herself and think about what she really wanted to do, and what would make her happy, without looking outside (ideas from social networks),and looking more inside her heart. This made her realize that what she was looking for, was exactly on her, her passion for photography.

The founder always liked photography, in 2013 she took a photography course and worked on some projects and events as a photographer. But she never thought that her passion for photography could become the soul of her own business.

The same goes for the brand name "Felicity Photography," after the founder discovered which field would start her own business, it took months to find a name that could perfectly fit the brand. Among many suggested names, she started to think what she wanted to show her customers, how she wanted them to feel about her products. The best name or feeling to describe that was "Happiness", “Felicity” was the chosen name which coincidentally is the name of the Founder.

A lesson learned by the founder and from her own words :

It is necessary to discover our own passions, so that people fall in love with what we have to offer”.

In other words, as long as we do not discover the passion in what we have to offer, people will never fall in love with our essence.
